While I was in my “writing slump,” I came across the tweet above and I totally agreed. So slowly, but surely, I started to get my act together. As I stated in my previous post, I have tons of drafts, but nothing was complete because all hell was breaking loose. Honestly, I couldn’t keep going because I needed a break to re-boot. The writing during those times were fragmented thoughts.  Moreover, one of my most personal pieces helped me to get through a very difficult time.  The moral of the story is even though I didn’t have anything complete, I had something–typos and all.

Mondays suck, but you have to get through it to get to the weekend. Keep going, but if you need a break, call out on Wednesday and just be. Then get back to it. 🙂
