The meaning of this quote really hit home when I went to a memorial service where the person’s body was not present. The creative things she made throughout her life lined the walls as stories about her were shared along with a slide show of her and her family and friends. We celebrated her life and all the amazing ways she touched ours. Her warm and gentle presence was felt that day. This week makes four years since she transitioned, but she’s still here because there was never a goodbye.
